Our Company History Starting out in 1986, Curtis and Leslie Wilmington began Hawaiian Accessories by venturing into the labor-intensive market of craft fairs. They quickly gained a strong f ollowing for their koa jewelry. This allowed them to open a retail outlet at the Windward Mall in 1988. With ten years of greater success they relocated to the Ala Moana Center in 1998 where they began to expand their inventory to include other fine koa products such as koa jewelry boxes, hand mirrors and more. Keeping the quality high and their kamaaina prices affordable brought a favorable response by both locals and visitors alike. In 2004, they kept the momentum of success going with a store at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. To complement their own items they selected a variety of local artisans to fill the store with very "Hawaiian" works of art. This successful combination of products enabled Hawaiian Accessories to add yet another retail shop in the Marriott Resort & Spa in 2005. Plans are now in the works for more stores in Waikiki. This online site introduces Hawaiian Accessories to the world and to share their aloha. They are proud to offer unique products that promote the Hawaiian culture and all at affordable kamaaina prices. Expectations are high at Hawaiian Accessories and the potential unlimited.
